| Well, that's the most ambitious thing I've done in a while. lol. I could go on about different aspects of this piece: --I'm preeeeeetty pissed I got the light source wrong! The mines have these kerosene lamp looking things I totally forgot about until Google reminded me. But at that point, I was so engrossed in other details I didn't want to risk ruining the piece --The background stuff is pretty unnecessary, and to me detracts from the picture, but it was fun to draw and I didn't want it to be too simple of a background. Hope it worked. --Most of the shading was stippled. In fact 90% of the shading was stippled, and now my hand hurts, hahaha. --I might (with R51's permission, of course) upload a detail-submission of this one, because it is by far the biggest Photoshop work I have ever done at 5,000x5,000 pixels [though tbh I'm not sure if I ever saw it zoomed out all the way haha]. | The background stuff is actually my favorite part of the picture. You did a great job with it, and also the stippling really adds to the character of the image. Terra looks really good, and I like her pants. I don't like how Locke turned out, but other than that, there's a lot of good stuff in this work. Good job! | |
