It appears to be working... my faith restored (my faith in them running a website, that is, lol). I'm interested to see what they do with their newly acquired franchises, Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, etc.

I'm interested to see what they do with their newly acquired franchises, Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, etc. Given all three franchises you mentioned were pretty much dead in the water before now, I wouldn't anticipate greatness. Perhaps adequateness, but I for one am not placing much faith in what they've got to offer right now. As for post-show, well, we'll see, but again, not much faith. May be interesting to watch but that might be it.

I'm excited, as usual, even if that excitement doesn't, as usual, materialize into actual purchases. It'll be interesting to learn a bit more of the direction SE is taking with FFXIII.

So, I got thrown a curveball on this, as I suspect many of you did as well. Despite E3's own site saying that the dates were 7-9 June, the keynote speeches about which we tend to care the most actually start this morning, at 12:30pm Eastern, with Microsoft, followed by Sony's later tonight and Nintendo's tomorrow.
Join us at all of the aforementioned locations in just a couple hours to see E3 really kick off!

Didn't think about it, but I think that's exactly how it started last year, with the three main press conferences and then the E3 event going on for three days after. Lol, I wasn't even paying attention... Youtube told me.
