I had completely forgot that the 360 version of this game would be on multiple discs. That's no big deal though. But I thought the trailer was the biggest news I've seen. Because it gave a glimpse, for good or ill, into the style of the story. I kind of ranted on the other forum, but I just don't know when I'll buy it or if I will. I honestly hope that Square doesn't think that we'll buy the game because of that song: that would be a horrible road to go down. But either way, the story seems rather sappy, but that's alright (hey, perhaps the song does fit after all). It looks like it will be exciting at least. I might wait for reviews to come out. Also, did you have to pay for the bus? Were they letting anyone on? That's strange. And, do they have other video game themed bars in Japan? That would be pretty interesting to go into a Mario bar or something (never play Dragon Quest). Oh, and I forgot. There are some other rather small video game stories that caught my eye. As a Fallout 3 fan, I'm kind of angered that The Book of Eli has completely stolen from Fallout 3. Seriously, has anyone else noticed how blatant the is? And another thing that is cool: video games are coming to the Smithsonian!...in 2012. That will be extremely fun to see. I think that is a great news story.

Quote (Rangers51 @ 15th January 2010 19:12) From a different perspective in Square Enix corporate life, it's recently come to light that Yoichi Wada isn't pleased with the Japanese game retail industry and its xenophobia. Of course, some level of xenophobia in Japan is hardly anything new, so why should Square Enix care? Well, it's because now they're in charge of publishing games like Modern Warfare 2 in Japan. Now it all makes sense. It's such a shame in a way. I've found that in the last ten years, since FFIX fought through impossible odds to remain original, interesting and loveable, the best RPGs have been western. These guys are missing out if they're not playing games purely because they're not made in Japan. Having said that, I avoid JRPGs as much as I possibly can these days, so I'm just as bad. Luckily I don't think I'm missing out on anything. Quote (BlitzSage) Oh, and I forgot. There are some other rather small video game stories that caught my eye. It's probably closer to Mad Max isn't it? Like it says in the link, we'd expect all this landscape and bad-ass survivor central character after a nuclear war. It's typical of this genre.
