If the remixed versions of the tracks are good, then i'm probably gonna end up buying this. Especially since, as said, the art is super neko neko mawaii.

It's worth noting that a remix of the main theme is on the official site right now. I assume it's the one that they'll use in the game, and I rather liked it. This game won't get me to go buy a 3DS, but if I already had one or was planning to get one, I could see throwing a bit of money at it when we learn more.

Remix of the main theme is pretty ballin'. I'd Audiosurf to it or what have you.
The Cosmos vs. Chaos emblem in the title reminds me of Dissidia. Are they going to frame all of these meta-game spinoffs as battles between those two?

Quote Electroplankton Okay, this better be good. Quote Audiosurf Of the several music/rhythm videogames, I prefer DDR/Stepmania the most since I get exercise along with it. ---- I like this idea. There's a lot of potential for great tunes to be used. In fact, as much as I dislike "Man with the Machine Gun", I"ll admit it's the first track that came to mind as a nicely danceable/tappable track. More ideas: * Fiddle de Chocobo ** Brass de Chocobo *** Electric de Chocobo **** Samba de Chocobo ***** and other Chocobo themes * Slide Show Part 2 (lol silent film ragtime) * Guardia's Millenial Fair * like every boss theme that has a beat

Here's a video with some action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKi9Z7Axyog...player_embedded
Looks like you control all manner of FF characters, and use "rhythm sequences" for everything from walking around, combat, or reenacting famous scenes from FF games. You also use protagonists from multiple FF games in combat.

Yeah, I was actually going to post news about that video, too, but hopefully people will see it in this old thread. Kotaku's Brian Ashcraft was savage about it, but I actually think this is adorable. I don't think it should have a $40 price point, but it's a really cute looking game and I think it blends the Final Fantasy property into a different genre pretty nicely.

I'm really looking forward to this game to the point where I will try to get the system just so I can play it.
