Neat concept, but I doubt it'll put a dent into CoH or CoH's fanbase.

Sounds interesting but I'm still hoping someone will someday release an MMORPG that's actually fun and not just mindless item-gathering and repetitive mass-genocide to gain a level. I can't help but get the feeling this is going to be a game where you fight hoards of generic thugs to gain the next level so you can do 3 extra damage per attack, and where you collect 50 Old Lady Dentures and 15 Squidmen Armors to make a Cape of Holy Cheese. If they can go beyond that, kudos to them. The MMO genre is growing increasingly predictable and seems to be little more than an old toy with a new packaging with each new released game. On the other hand, I've always wanted to find an MMO where players define the storyline (ie, Evil Player attempts to level a village, Party of Good Players attempts to stop him and his minions.) But sadly, a lot of people on the intar-web are just lazy and would rather build up their character and hang out with their guild. Will this be the one to change that? Who knows. Maybe, maybe not.

Isn't this like that one X-Box game, Fable? Except of course that it's not online?? I don't know, I couldn't think of anything else to post, so I just posted this....

Quote and where you collect 50 Old Lady Dentures and 15 Squidmen Armors to make a Cape of Holy Cheese. That is going into my sig. I've fallen out of the MMORPG thing, after I bought guild wars and found out my comp was too old to show the graphics as it should be. I agree that this probably won't do as well as city of heroes; limiting themselves to the marvel universe, they'll need to come up with something fresh and new to get my interest.

Im not a big fan of MMORPG's because I fine you start out too slow. But I did always want to try Fable, wish I had a X-Box. Starcraft Friend told me alot about it. Quote RoflWhere you collect 50 old lady dentures and 15 squidmen armors to make a cape of holy cheese. But yes you do prove a point indeed. And the point above is too funny for words. You need numbers. With the "evil side" and "good side" in you reminds me of Starwars KOTOR (knight of the old republic)

I've never been a big fan of MMO's, especially considering the computer i run on is crap at best, and quite frankly, I can do better things with those 20 dollars a month. The game seems to be no more than a gimmick with that whole good side/bad side option, and frankly, its beginning to become a cliche in games nowadays. Oh, well. Just another reason for me not to buy a 360.
