Hey look, I'm responding to this thread about as late as the Christmas tree stayed up in my dorm once! (Yes, it was only finally taken down in April.) > holiday gaming memories Oddly, I don't have much in the way of gaming-specific holiday memories. I didn't get all that many games as a little kid, I guess, and when I got them it was relatively random. I do remember getting Pokémon Yellow for my birthday once, but that's not during the Christmas season. Seems I'm not the only one in that boat, lol. Seems I'm also not the only one in the boat where I've basically picked up all the games I want and actually have very few games I'm looking forward to. Goes doubly so for me since I tend to get into games several years late. > look-around-you Look around you. Look around you. Just, look around you. Have you worked out what we're looking for? ...correct! The answer is... Possible spoilers: highlight to view dot matrix with stereo sound. > the stuff with Gyromite and playing with one's feet This reminds me of holding down a button on the second controller in Mega Man 3's infamous invincibility mode. | |
