They're not bringing this to a Nintendo system, ever, are they?

Android support would be awesome too, but I don't have my hopes up...

Question, though, since it will be available for iPhone and iPad and since iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone (so I've heard) is it safe to assume that I will be able to play them on my iPod touch?

Quote (Chewbekah @ 17th September 2010 20:19) Question, though, since it will be available for iPhone and iPad and since iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone (so I've heard) is it safe to assume that I will be able to play them on my iPod touch? Most games are playable on the Touch, yeah, but my guess would be that you would need a fairly recent version of the operating system and/or hardware. OS updates are free for iPhone users, but I believe they charge Touch users $10 if they need an upgrade. When the game finally is released, you should be able to hop into iTunes and check the system requirements pretty easily. As for Android, I agree that you shouldn't hold your breath. Android is quality, I'm not that big of an iPhone fanboy, but it's also not locked down the way a computer or iPhone operating system is - I think the install base, visibility, and variances from one Android install to another make it unlikely that many major games will get ported.
