I just joined here, and was supprised to find that this topic is not listed. (Or at least I'm pretty sure it isn't, sorry if it is )

Everyone who plays FFVI finds themselves looking for more, and out of desperation may fall into such deniel as to try one of those "bring Leo back from the dead" or "get Siegfried" things. (You know, fight 4000 battles in phantom forest, and then kill Chupon in the Collesium, that sort of thing).

Now,  Square would never make a sequel. But if they did, what would you want to see? Like, an explanation for why the heck Siegfried is there? Actually see the last of shadows dreams, and get some closure there?

But Enough of that, Lets give the floor to someone who has something interesting to say. So, what would you want to see in a sequel?

I don't remember which topics, but we've talked about this type of stuff many a time. There is a prequel being made, but not by Square. For a sequel? Gotta go with some more stuff about Shadow, and basically more closure is all i can think of. A sequel wouldn't be very good in my opinion, because the only real thing you could do is bring back kefka by some wacky and somewhat stupid way, and another reign of terror comes. Never heard of THAT before...

Aye, I think if they are carefull with the Prequel, it can turn out quite well.  There are alot of things the charecters experianced in the past that could add alot to the story line.  Locke and Rachael.....  Setzer and Daryl (sp?).    (Shadow and Relm's mother?)


As for what I would have liked to seen in a Sequal.. Some more revealing the past of Shadow.  What Cyan does with his life since he's lost everyone he loved.  How Terra deals with her life as a Human?  Alot could be done with it.

In a sequal, for me I would like to see what happens to the characters after the game (i.e. who ends up with who). Then when an evil strikes somehow all the characters are reunited to fight it along with some new ones

yeah, but if there is a sequel, it'll be hard to put magics because of the way storyline flows.
