I started visiting this site in early 2004 before joining not long after that. At the time I was in the second half of my freshman year in high school and my interest in Final Fantasy was reaching its peak (but would not hit that peak for many years), so I found myself frequenting her a lot more. Looking at my early posts and even some recent posts, I realize how much I have changed. I'm not sure if it is due to me getting older, moving across country (my home state is California) to continue my education, or the fact that girls seem to occupy a majority of my thoughts (more on that later).

I moved from California to Ohio in June 2010 to continue my education, I wasn't sure if I was going to be accepted at the university I applied at (Ohio State), but considering I was an out of state person and one who graduated community college, I felt good about my chances. Surely enough I was accepted for Spring Quarter 2011 (I wanted to pay as little out of state as possible). While it hasn't been easy for me due to balancing as a full-time student, working 32 hours a week at nights (as a grocery store cashier), getting sleep (I manage to get a decent amount), and having a life in general. Somehow I managed to do all that am still passing all of my classes, with the completion of Spring Quarter 2012 (my fifth quarter at my university, but not attending in the summer due to the conversion), I find this all to be an accomplishment.

Time changes us all, really, and people have likely found themselves here at all different points in their lives and for different reasons.

Me? For the great walkthroughs then, upon seeing a very active forum community, to discuss the awesomeness that is the Final Fantasy series with like-minded individuals, because I honestly don't get a lot of that from my friends. A lot of them are big game geeks, but surprisingly, not many are as big a fan, or as vocal with/willing to discuss their thoughts as I am.

Anyways, glad to hear you've had one of those moments in your life where you can sit back and reflect.

I wager several members are going to be hanging out here for several years and then look back at crap they said when they were 13 or 15 or whathaveyou and be, like, "What the heck was I talking about!? Sephiroth's cooler than Kefka?! .. oh right, I had emo hair then..." and such.

i originally came here because i was collecting images of the the dragons from FFVI and i saw the image of tiamat in the FF VI hidden stuff section of this site. i don't know how that got me into the forums here but it did and here i am. still hanging out here

I know I have been in my share of crappy relationships. The worst one has to be the one that lied and told me she was gay and only wanted a baby. Can you say 23 years of Child Support lol
