Are you asking about FF6? You posted in the FF6 forum but asked about general FF. In any event the answer is zero for me.

At this point, zero. I've been playing other games and I probably won't go back to FF until I get a ROM of FFVa

Every once in a while, but I am hooked up to my waist in other RPG's that I haven't played for a while like: Breath of Fire 2, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound (rulez), Illusion of Gaia, Lufia & Lufia 2, Paladin's Quest (thought I would give it another shot since the first time didn't go to well), Robotrek, Romancing Saga 3, Secret of Mana, Secret of Mana 2, Star Ocean, Treasure Hunter G, and Treasure of the Rudras. I have many more, but these are the ones I am the most busy with right now.

Currently zero, for all FF games combined.
This seems to be a general FF question, so I'll give it a general FF answer. Occasionally I might mess with several hours worth of FFVII (if I get around to actually playing it, which means either figuring out how to make my PC version work or what plugins to give my ePSXe or actually finding a hard copy and a PS memory card). If not, I might feel like playing a few battles of FFTA and eat about 1/2 hour per battle, for about 8 battles. So, another several hours. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. You can find me on the Fediverse! I'm going through another tri-Ace phase, so I haven't played any Final Fantasies lately.
This will undoubtedly change with the advent of Final Fantasy V Advance, of course. This post has been edited by Zeromus_X on 11th October 2006 22:44 -------------------- |

Often more than 3 hours a day. And the game I usually play is often Final Fantasy 5. Game never bores me thanks to jobs.

In any FF game (or multiple FF games in one sitting) I dock between less than 1 to about 3. On some days when I'm really not doing anything, I'll go as far as 6 and no, I don't have a life

Zero, as of now...
But in summer of 2004, I played FFVII 56 hours, FFIX 110 hours, FFX 60 hours, and FFVIII 40 hours. That was when I was really obessed with FF, which I'm not so much, anymore... |

I'm hooked on the GBA ones and I can't wait until FF V and VI on GBA. So I'm currently playing like 2hrs a day maybe. FF is the only games I play really. I can see myself playing FF1 less though because those extra dungeons are seriously getting on my nerves

My scales are tipped to the extremes. At the moment, I'm clocking in at zero but when I get FFXII, I'll be milking every waking hour if possible. Currently preoccupied with Wild ARMs 4, though, so that'll have to hold me off for a few weeks.

Over 6 hours a day, wake up go on the computer, play Chrono Trigger, go to school, bring my gameboy with a copy of FF IV and come home, play FF8 and go back onto the computer for the rest of the night, trying to beat Lavos's 2nd form in Chrono Trigger. So, around six hours, yeah.

To tell the truth... 0 for me too, but since I just got done with Final Fantasy Origins
I USED to play VI NONSTOP. I dont know what happened. I think because I wanted to Master Final Fantasy VIII and beat Origins, I just needed a break. I HAVE NOT even BEAT FF VI yet, because Im busy leveling up all my characters. (If you want to know where I go to level up just let me know... its tough!) |

maybe 1/12-2 hours, but it is mostly Blitzball on FFX and Some FFT since ive been bored waiting for FFXII to come out, but my record for most time playing in a day was: FFVIII and FFX from 7:45 to 5:30 on day in the Summer a year ago, but i of course took breaks to do other stuff.

Currently, about 4 hours a day on FFT. That's probably how it's going to stay until two things happen: My Archer SCC is complete, and FFVa is released state-side.

I think I played FFVI SNES for about an hour today. That's probably about the norm lately for me anyway. Back when I got FFVa it was probably four hours but I haven't gotten a new Final Fantasy in a while. My count might go up again when I get my PS2, though.

FF is too small a series - especially if you limit it to the numbered FFs. I usually play through a chapter in DoC (if that counts) daily during the week. That's about an hour or so, tops, so I'd say ~4 hours of that a week. FFV, if ROM hacking counts, I'd easily slap a few dozen hours a week minimum. A lot of that time is spent elbow-deep in assembly and bank dumps though.
I also play some other games occasionally. I've taken up Riviera again for some reason and play an hour or two a week of this. Then there's endless saga, that nets me a few more hours of play-testing a week, when I can progress on some things. Right now my efforts are mainly invested in FFV, though. I spend less than 20 hours a week messing around with games and the likes out of... 130.5 hours of spare time every week. Including my lunch breaks and all that (more realistically, that'd be 120-125 hours. Sleep excluded - who sleeps anymore anyhow? Real men pass out on pool tables (but don't spill their beers!) not in beds...) -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

I might start playing FFTA again while I have some free time this week... aside from that, the answer would be zero. Maybe I can improve that average with some new releases later on in the year, I hope.

Mabye 2-3 hours a week I dont have much free time at all, but if it say a good Final Fantasy like VII or Kingdom Hearts 2. I have been known to waste a whole day just playing it.

Yeah, I don't always get a chance to play EVERY day, but when I do, it's not short. I'd say that I average 1 hour a day in the pattern of 3 days of 0 hours, and then 4 of 2+ a day.
As an example: The day that FFX-2 came out, I didn't have school or work, and logged 17 hours that day, as well as another 5 before work the next day. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! My PS2 is broken and so I have no gaming device. That being said, before it broke, I wasn't playing it at all. I usually bounce from not playing at all to spending three/four hours a day on FFT

I play it a little bit every day >_> I just finished FFVI, so I bought FFV. More Final Fantasy for me. I'd say about 30 minutes to an hour a day. Counter-strike on the other hand...

when im actually playing one i play it between 3-12 hours not 12 hours straight though like little intervals now and then to go on the PC.
The longest i played was final fantasy 7 and that was for 27 hours with my friend on one of our little FF marathons. |

Currently 1 or two a day. And that's because i play Final Fantasy Tactics. And 4-5 day a week for an hour or two hours i play to a FF Chapter. But to me there exists other RPG and other games, plus the e-games and going out with my friends.
