Took me 10 minutes to draw it on MSPaint, and 40-50 minutes of colors and shading. I know some parts seem pretty weird, but I was watching Batman Returns last night when I felt like making this portrait. What do you think?

Pretty good, the only real problem i see is that the lower half of the face seems to be too short.

Cool. And on MS Paint, no less (more like MS Pain to me).

He looks like he has a receding chin, though. Was that intentional?

I like the costume, but the lips really need help.

He's got quite the beak on him, no? I'm thinkin' that nose could use some shrinking, as well, but whatevah.

Quirky mug aside, this is actually pretty nifty, heh.

Console RPG Cliches

Actually there's some perspective screw up all over the place. It's most apparent in the face and the bat symbol. He took a shotgun to the face, cause half of it aint there. And that symbols gotta tug, twisted the way it is off the rest of the body.

I'd strongly recommend some art books that focus on perspective and proportions. For something like this, it'd be better to draw it out or have some sort of reference before you attempt a sprite.

I agree with Narratorway about the perspective flaws, however. And the lips?!?!?

Good old CoN

Well, it's batman alright, but i think his chin could be more strong and batmanish. Aport from it's good, I like really the shading.

Ahh thanks for the c&c everybody. I kinda put the cape a little more backwards so he could move his arms freely and some other improvements like the face and the mask

His jaw looks much better, but his lips still look strange.

Yeah, the the jaw is slightly better, but you better off with the previous eye. As for those...uh...lips. Yeah they could use some work. Right now...well, I can't really say what they resemble since I'd prolly get banned.

Narratorway, like Cloud_Strife510's link, I was trying to design the lips just as Michael Keaton's. Sure it looks a little weird in my pixel art, but I'm not changing the lips because it just wouldn't be Michael Keaton.
