Where in the Gelnika is the double cut materia? I didn't find it while I was there. Or do you have to get it on disc 2? I went on disc 3. It would really suck if it doesn't exist now and I can't get it. I'm gonna head back and look for it.

No, it'll exist. It's just the matter of finding it. You just passed up on a fight with Reno and Rude, though.
It's in the room above the lobby. (Where the Save Point and Haven's Cloud reside.) -------------------- |

LOL in all my game files I have never before noticed that door! I always just walk right past it! Boy, do I feel like a total knob now.
So, new question. Does it not work combined with slash all/mega all? |

Moving this topic to the FF7 forum since it's not an error and is now just a general question.

It doesn't work with an 'all' effect but the materia itself can target multiple enemies. For example, if you used 4x Cut while fighting Reno and Rude, it might hit them in this order: Rude, Rude, Reno, Rude. So you could say that it already has the 'all' ability.
Also, just so you don't miss any doors in the future, you can press 'Select' or whatever the PC equivalent is to bring up the red and green pointers This post has been edited by sweetdude on 13th February 2009 22:00 -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Master All materia actually overrides the effect of 2x or 4x Cut, and gives you the Slash-All command.
P.S. "Materia" should be in the forum dictionary by default XD |
