These 2 NES games were kinda sorta interesting...and I think the first one had a 3-D mode, just like World Runner or whatever the hell it was called.
With music by Nobuo Uematsu, as I understand it. Always did like "Gum Ball Crash." And apparently the title of it is strikingly similar to a short-lived anime featuring chicks in Iron Man suits or something??? The days before the Final Fantasy flood. -------------------- X is blue. |

The first one did indeed have a 3D mode. I remember playing it with the glasses, as it came out before I first needed glasses and I could actually try it without being extremely uncomfortable. The 3D was... 80s 3D.
I did remember reading that Uematsu did the music, and I also remember enjoying the music well before I found out anything about where the game came from - Nintendo published the first one here, and even gave it box art that made it look almost identical to real first-party releases of the time. The second one, never really even looked at it. Did it actually involve any of the original folks? I can't imagine they brought out the A team for that one if they only released it here in the States. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

I dunno who a lot of those other guys are (though I do remember hearing the name Ken Narita in a Squaresoft game before), Nobuo Uematsu is listed as the composer. -------------------- X is blue. |

Meanwhile, I just discovered today that "Ymos. H", the composer for the Game Boy version of Bubble Ghost, is actually Hitoshi Sakimoto. I love it when we get to hear their earlier works. -------------------- current games (2024-02-19): Fairy Fencer F ADF Pokémon Perfect Crystal finished so far this year: Gato Roboto drowning, drowning New Super Mario Bros.
