Is it true that there is no such thing as the airship in the original NES version of FF1?

No, that's completely incorrect. How would you reach the vast majority of locations after the second orb without an Airship?

If the answer No, would suffice I would just do that but, not only do I still own the Nes version , I have also played it and its reincarnations over the handhelds. In every single version the enterprise is attainable.

They've started naming it the Enterprise in later versions? (said the old school gamer who's only played on NES and PS1) Cool.
