Some background:
Okay, this is gonna be weird, but I think I actually loved Terra from FFVI. When I was a kid I took such pride in being Locke and protecting her. I also deeply enjoyed talking to all of the townspeople as if they were my own friends.

Now fast forward to today, I have a wife, real life friends, and even a rock and roll band. But I still miss the townspeople and the other NPCs from the great JRPGs of my childhood. That's why I wrote the song in the link above.
