wow, I just looted the sword Deathbringer in the PSP version. In the Flying Fortress 1F against Death Knights... it's better than the Sunblade... cast Death when used in Items..
awesome.. i've looked in the sword inventory of the web site, it's not there... I've played the original FF1 on NES I wonder if it existed by then.. Can't remember anyone else looted that sword? This post has been edited by zarghster on 19th July 2007 18:26 |

I have it, and equipped it. It doesnt seem that much better but it works.
I actually got two, one right after another. |

i'm happy, I thought my red mage was to use Sunblade until masamune, no!!! b00m! a better sword than the Sunblade! and a loot! Nice suprise |

If you found it in one of the Soul of Chaos dungeons, there's a good chance it doesn't exist in the NES or PS1 versions.
And I think it's the Bane Sword in the NES version. -------------------- |

Nah, I'm quite sure it's not the Bane Sword. I seem to remember the words "Scourge" and "Razor" when I think of Bane Sword in DoS. Maybe Bane is called "Scourge" and the weapon is called "Razor"?
