I know after you defeat Zeromus, watch the ending and then the credits, you get a new dungeon, the Lunar Ruins. So with that said, at this point, when you load from that completed save file, the game starts you out outside the moon's crystal palace. My question is at this point, can you go back to the end of the Lunar Subterraine and defeat Zeromus again? Or does it end after you complete the Lunar Ruins? I would just check myself, but I figure it wouldn't hurt asking.

Yeah, you can go back and defeat Zeromus again - in fact, if you want to complete the trials for every character, you HAVE to go back and defeat Zeromus with each party member in your group if you want access to their trial.

In the night there is something wild
Can you hear it breathing?
And hey, put the laptop down for a while
In the night there is something wild
I feel it, it's leaving me

Sweet. Thanks for answering.

I guess to give this thread some more discussion, which character's trial would you say is your favorite? And try to avoid spoilers, since I still haven't started the Lunar Ruins. I'm starting that later today.

Cecil's trial was probably my favorite, due to the creativity of it.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Instead of having one set path through it, there are many different 'tasks' he can be told to do.
. Least favorite is probably Kain's.

It just takes way too long without being challenging in any way. You're just being led through a slow story that's pretty hamfisted IMO.

Before Lunar Ruins, I would recommend doing the Cave of Trials at Mt. Ordeals. This will get the non-traditional end characters some better weapons and armor for taking on Zeromus.
