I can't remember exactly what they are, but there just so happens (shameless plug in 3..2..) to be a guide here on the FFVI page that could help you.
I believe this is the right page. I think in terms of storyline, those chests were emptied by the robbers, so I don't think they're supposed to have stuff in them. However, if I were you, you could always use that as an opportunity for endless Atma Weapon/Economizer/Offering spams! Oh, and welcome to the forum! -------------------- |

Thank you, I believe you're right about the chests being empty. I knew there were guides here, but nothing really referred to the items in those chests, or proper placement. for now I will just get all the rooms made, and then figure out what to do with the chests, and other items.

They are in fact empty, which the guide describes toward the end of the page. You can grab a Soul Sabre from the armor in the middle of the room, but that's it (and the Soul Sabre is in the guide too. )

Is there a way you can code in a secret? Maybe, you could program in a clock, and if the player does it in a certain amount of time, they could get there before the stuff is taken.

Blitz, there are so many different ways to script that with the HPL engine, theres alot of different triggers that can set off or activate other items, and its made very easy to do. However if you want to make an actual remake of the game, and gameplay it would require a bit of coding plus there would be some good amount of time spent making new textures and models. As the few maps are they can be played as a first person view. I like the idea of playing a remake of the game, but even if I did manage to do all of that, I wouldn't want to have lawyers coming after me if I shared it with the world.

Well, you'd probably get in more trouble if you made an absolutely faithful copy and then distributed it. And trust me, unless you're planning on making money for it, they're not going to bother you. They have better things to do. -------------------- |
