Despite my most noble efforts, I can't seem to pull this off. Referencing several different guides has not yielded an answer, so I have registered here to seek help. In the world of ruin, I am at Arvis' house attempting to trigger the Lone Wolf chase, yet it is locked. All the guides seem to say that you simply have to go here for this to trigger, yet I cannot get inside. Google searches such as "arvis house locked ffvi" "cant get mog ffvi" and "cant find lone wolf ffvi" have not helped either. In fact, I cant seem to find anyone else online having this problem. So, what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't the Lone Wolf chase in the World of Balance?

To recruit Mog in the World of Ruin, you need to find him in the Moogle Cave.

Arvis's house (far northeast of town) should be the only unlocked house in Narshe before Locke joins. You go through the path in the Narshe caves starting from Arvis's house, down the same way Terra traveled on foot at the start of FF VI, and it'll take you to the Moogle cave where Mog is.
