Why aren't there pages dedicated to Final Fantasy 2 and 3?

I am playing through FF2 for the first time and it is disappointing to not find it on here.

There's a thread in which I discuss 2 and 3 a bit specifically. Of course, some of the things I (and others) say in there is dated due to the thread being very old, but you get the gist. smile.gif

Somehow, even after many years, the answer kinds of remains the same - we always have things that are already on the site that need to improve, and I am hoping to do some of those improvements maybe in the second half of this year. But without direct knowledge of the games in question (personally, I've only done half of FF3 on NDS, and virtually none of FF2 despite having it on PSP and PSX both) it's not something I can particularly plan for without having other folks step up to pitch in significantly.

Well, I am not a master at FF2 (yet), but I would be willing to help out anyway I could.

FF 2 really needs an official release with that fast forward feature that Square has been putting in its games recently. Or, doubtful but better yet, have the magic level system work more like it does in elder scrolls games where spells are split into categories and using magic in a category levels your proficiency with the category as a whole instead of just that one spell. I'm the guy on our channel who's taking on Final Fantasy 2 for our playthrough of the series and I actually kind of like it (We'll be playing the PSP version btw). The grinding is a bit much but not too necessary unless you're a big completionist. In which case this game will be hell.

Is fast-forward or turbo becoming a new standard in JRPGs? I know it's been common in emulators since like forever, but I've recently heard that it is a native feature of Trails of Cold Steel, and got retroactively added to Trails in the Sky (PC version) just a few days ago. And those are Falcom, rather than Squenix, games.

I mean, it's something that makes a lot of sense -- I did it quite a darn lot which I think was why I was spoiled and thus felt that FFVII moved very slowly since I couldn't turbo that in its PC version.
