And the fanboys rejoiced!
I honestly don't think I'll be getting it though. I already played through it on DS, and while it is a good game, I didn't enjoy it enough to warrant a second playthrough. Besides that, based on what I've seen from Youtube videos, the DS version's translation is far, far better written then the Woosely one, which will be used in this game. -------------------- "When we think there's no hope left, we keep looking until we find some!" - Claire Farron |

Well, for me, I haven't been able to get a good playthrough for it, so this is fantastic news for me. Something about it has stayed in my mind since I first played it, like it's haunting me, lol. I was confused though, because it just came out in Japan. They skipped over FFVI, which was released a month earlier. interesting...

Quote (Smash Genesis @ 13th May 2011 10:34) Besides that, based on what I've seen from Youtube videos, the DS version's translation is far, far better written then the Woosely one Is that so? I didn't play the DS version, but the only complaint I have with the original is Frog's horrible command of the English language. I like Woolsey's translations a lot (it took some time) and I was pretty PO'ed when someone decided to remove most of the best lines from FFVI Advance. However, I don't know Japanese and until I do, I won't really have a standard for comparison. I won't get the VC version of CT either though, because I have my SNES still plugged in and my Wii is sitting unused in a drawer somewhere. Edit But seriously, anyone who doesn't have CT already should seize this opportunity. It's a short and sweet game, but also quite replayable. I remember I paid well over 50 dollars on my SNES copy, and I already have CTDS, however I did consider buying once again on here.
Anyone who has not yet play should ABSOLUTELY pick up, especially when only 8 dollars. |

Interesting thought comparing the price that games used to be and what you got for what they are now. -------------------- Chewbekah ^_^ Currently Playing: Final Fantasy XIV: ARR, Attack of the Firday Monsters, Animal Crossing: A New Leaf, Lego City Undercover, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix Recently Finished: Fire Emblem: Awakening Favorite Game: Suikoden III |
