Quote As an added bonus, if the game sees some success maybe we'll see a new Chrono game. Can you imagine the possibilities on the PS3? It would be awesome. Can it be 3D? And done well? Especially after they shut down the 3D remake fan project. (I mean, not even Nintendo shut down Starmen.) (Also, Bum Rush Blitz, you live in Wyoming? Dang. You're the first person I've met while outside Wyoming; I've already met one Montanan and one Idahoan.) You're the first person I've met while outside Wyoming; I've already met one Montanan and one Idahoan.) Amazingly, my Oceanography class from two semesters ago had two Wyoming people in it. My professor said so on the second day of class: "this is the first time I've ever had more than one student from Wyoming before. So you hear that? If you're in here and you're from Wyoming, then there are two of you." Good times. I think that a sequel to Chrono Trigger might be inevitable. CTDS was successful critically and financially, and there was even a new (and slightly depressing/frustrating) ending made for Chrono Trigger that better ties it to Cross. It might be on the horizon sooner than we think. -------------------- |

It's a well-liked franchise that hasn't been overdeveloped (or developed at all, in the last decade at least). It would be awesome if they did! -------------------- Currently Playing : Final Fantasy V Most Recently Beat : Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Favorite Game : Final Fantasy X The newest CoNcast is up! Have a listen! |

Oh, I thought you either forgot about CC or were implying that they were going to retcon CC (which I wouldn't mind at all, heh), since it already currently occupies the "the sequel to Chrono Trigger" slot. It all began with Chrono Trigger for the SNES for me. The game had everything; great art, battle system, weapons, characters, story.... I mean, you had a time machine for crying out loud! Things you did in the past would affect the future. You can't beat that kind of stuff with a pointy stick!

The Chrono Trigger game is a living legend among ALL other RPGs I've ever played then and now. Classic plot, classic characters, classic graphics, classic soundtrack, classic GAMEPLAY... am I missing anything else?
