The internet only has crappy fishing guides for XV as of this time. I have been putting one together and it is coming together quite nicely. My questions are: Do you guys want this guide? Do you want me to post it on the forums (if so where) or do you want me to submit it to the website? If I think of any more I'll ask here. Thanks.
Post Note: I figured out the Phantom Snakehead mystery. I couldn't find anybody online who knew the circumstances for him spawning. I'm confused on whether you mean I should try posting it there or if I've checked there. For the former. Yes I've considered posting the guide there and I might but I wanted to give my favorite Final Fantasy site a chance to have it instead.
If you mean the latter then yes I've checked there. As of my posting of this response, there are only two walkthroughs for the game in development and no fishing guides. There is a message board there that directs people to a reddit post I did find but that one isn't complete and missing some info that I feel a more complete guide should have (which is what I'm making). An example goes back to what I said earlier about the phantom snakehead. The post says to fish for him at the Malacchi pond at night. It (like every posting I've found so far) fails to mention (or maybe the creator didn't even notice) that the phantom snakehead only comes out at night IF it's cloudy or raining. He won't come out on a clear night. I noticed a lot of message boards of people asking why they couldn't find the phantom snakehead with morons all telling them to go to the malacchi pond at night..... Such a guide might be useful to me when I start playing in earnest, so feel free to post it in the General Squenix forum (the same place I'll move this thread in a bit). We probably won't host it on the site itself, though, because it doesn't fit in anywhere on the site unless we did a complete Final Fantasy XV section, which I don't see as being really in our wheelhouse.

Okay. Thanks for the response. Sure. I'll post it on the forums. I'll post it on a new thread soon.
Quick tip. Keep your eye out for blue treasures around the fishing spots. There's a chance one of those will randomly be a Ranker Tonberry lure which a very useful rare lure. I just need to throw together a General tips section for the start so I can post what I have done. Then I'll just have to finish the Vesperpool and Altissia for it to be complete.
