According to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLMcU-6bxsA
Ozma is the second hardest super boss. I love this guy but i personally question this placement. I personally don't have any issues taking that giant marble down. I actually haven't lost a fight to him in a long time. Anyways. What do you guys think? Is he hard enough to rate second on a hardest boss list? Note: The video came out 3 years ago but it is currently his most current one. -------------------- He's Back. He is The_TrueBOSS. I don't much believe in rankings of things like that, but I did just beat Ozma and not fully legitimately, and he still thumped me several times in trying. I don't know where that would put him, because there are lots of superbosses I haven't ever tried, but I can see why some people would rank him highly.

I've taken down a bunch of them here lately. Personally, the one that gives me the most trouble to this day isn't considered too often when talking about super bosses. And that is Ultima Weapon on 8. Not Omega, he's easy once you figure out his quirks. But Ultima's more random attack pattern can lead to him starting the fight with 3 light pillars in quick succession or at least to him spamming light pillar with regular frequency. Don't get me wrong though. I had to take a few game overs for both Omega and Ozma to figure out there quirks. But, once I did, I stopped losing fights to them. Which would suck if square didn't put super bosses like lingering will and Unknown in the kingdom hearts games. Talk about insane fast passed action!
Btw, if anyone reading this wants tips. I'm always willing to help. Also note, I have yet to fight some of the super bosses out there as well. One I can't wait to fight is good old Gil on 13-2. Ozma was cake. I was super nervous about beating him/her but if you prep right, absorb his/her elemental attack so (s)he heals you, you shouldn't have an issue. I think I beat Ozma on my first try.
Ruby, Emerald were both harder. I agree with TrueBOSS, Ultima Weapon (FFVIII) was much harder than Omega, which was actually laughably easy if you do a low-level or no level-up game (which is a lot easier to do in FFVIII than other games, but still hard within the confines of the game itself). Thought I remembered Nemesis from FFX being hard and have heard Penance is a beast, but have yet to get that far in the HD version I started not too long ago. (Side note: FFX is NOT as good as I remember haha). FFX-2 has insane Super-bosses, IMO. Angra Mainyu SUCKS. I don't think I eneded up beating it if I remember correctly. And Paragon and Trema in the Via Infinitio are probably much harder than Ozma, too. I think maybe the main reason Ozma was at the 2 spot is because of all of the side-quest preparation you have to do in order to even hit it. You for sure need ultimate weapons, and the attack pattern is truly random, if I'm not mistaken. Still, once you prepare right, like I said, you shouldn't have too much of an issue. But I wouldn't even put Ozma in the top-10, honestly. This post has been edited by Dynamic Threads on 16th July 2016 23:34 -------------------- |
