Anybody else get a glitch where the screen goes black after the espers all disappear from existance?

It seems i have terrible luck with final fantasy 6 and 9.

FF9 glitch:it freezes in the middle fo the final video sequence fo the end after seeing the sequence with kuja and zidane.

If you're playing Playstation versions, check your disc for scratches. Sounds like something is damaged somewhere. Also, are you or have you ever been a member of the communist party used any Action Replay or Gameshark codes on either game?

I have only really cheated in ff7 wich is now bugged to death because of it.

It could be scratches on ff9 but i doubt tha ff6 be scratched because it isn't a cd version,it is actually a snes cartridge.

And to make a joke out of your bottom line that was erased.

I would check it out for scratches... My frist set of FFVIII discs were somewhat scratched, and would freeze during the cut scene when Edea is riding in her carriage and her hair is blowing in the wind. (During the parade assasination attempt section of the game.) My two week wait for a new game was probably the most frustrating thing of my life

OMG that also happned to me aswell then i got new discs cause thre guy who had them before me treat them terrible

I don't re-call FF9 and FF6 being all that expensive. FF6 maybe, but you can just play an emulator if yours doesn't work. FF9 might work on an emulator but I'd say just buy a new disc.

i share your pain, my first set would freeze up right before the second edea fight. she would crash through the ceiling and then the game would freeze....that was an aggravating couple of days
