Black and white? Oh and it wasn't that hard if you had the Nullification slells like Nulfire or Afir for us retro gamers. Also you needed to use your noggin a little as well.
Did anyone else out there think that FFIIj's level up system was messed. This post has been edited by Spud21 on 24th August 2006 10:06 -------------------- Spud, dont judge me by the name. |

Quote (Spud21 @ 17th August 2006 03:26) FF I was the best on the NES I have played it on the NES and PSX and the NES one was much cooler RETRO ROCKS. NES for the win!! This thread seems to have turned into a debate regarding the NES, PSX and GBA versions of this game... I spit on GBA *spit* MP... BAH!! This whole "final fantasy" thing started off being modeled loosely off of DnD and other table top roleplaying games, and evolved later from there. That said, adding MP to FF1 was a mistake. It's turning a good game into a game for slow children and monkeys (not unlike FFX). Entertaining, but no ACTUAL challenge or anything of the sort. -------------------- Club Sandwiches. Not Seals. |

Actually, When you play the NES and head over to either the GBA or PS1 games you tend to feel the differences.
Especially when your SILVER sword dissappears from the Elf shops. Seirously. I'd much rather play the GBA or PS1, the interface is just a lot easier to handle. Not only that, but the improved graphics, music, and translation just.... well.. SRSLY THOUGH, I DON'T LIKE ALL CAPS SPEECH AND/OR THE FACT THAT MY FIGHTERS NAME IS FGTR. Heh...The PS and GBA versions are just a lot easier to swallow. So you don't have to end up swearing when all four of your party members miss the same target. -------------------- "There are two sides of a coin,I am the thin line between them." |

Hehe well thanks, I knew the NES one was harder, I might boot it up later but I also know HUGE differences now, (besides graphics) this topics done.
