Here comes the silliest question of the month.

Is "Allo Ver", the enemy, or rather its name specifically, a pun on "Aloe vera"?

I mean it's obviously already a pun on "all over". But based on the way I pronounce it I end up saying it like "Aloe vera" minus the last a.

Given that it's a skeletal undead enemy and not a plant, my guess is probably not.

I would agree, with Death Warden being it's official name and all.

I do pronounce it the same way as you though.

Wow. I have never thought about it like that before.

I also just pronounced it as "Aloe Vera" minus the a, but now I see how All Over would work AND make more sense.

Hate to admit it, but wasn't obvious to me : / . And here I thought it had a cool, non-sensical name...

I'm pretty sure I noticed the "intended" name as early as my first playthrough when the game was new. But like you and others in this thread, I've always pronounced it this way too.

I'll be honest, I noticed the intended pun ("all over") only after a while, because for a long time it didn't register due to having a very different sound.
