Can someone tell me what happends after the end of the Berserk anime where

Caska gets rapped by Femto, and Guts looses his arm, oh, and Griffith changes into Femto

Basically, I presume that Guts gets the attachment you see him with in the first episode - the gauntlet with the repeater crossbow. As far as I know, it becomes a quest for redemption. The whole anime, other than the first episode, is a big flashback, after all.

That's my interpretation, anyway.

I think it pretty much comes full-circle; although there were supposed to be 26 episodes, only 25 were made, so whatever happens in episode 26 would bring you to the beginning of episode 1
