While looking at the walkthrough, I noticed that the Masked Man has 10,188 Hp. This seems quite high for a first boss. I also noticed this for three others: King Leo (The second boss) has 10,186 Hp, Haagen has 10,033 Hp, and Weimar has 10,038 Hp. Is this a typo, or do these bosses simply have an absured amount of health? I may start playing Ff XI, and I would really like to know.

Many battles are scripted and therefore don't require the player to reduce all of the opponent's HP. This isn't uncommon in many Final Fantasy games.

For monster stats, Rebirth Flame's Monster list seems to be the most accurate. Here on GameFAQS Of required fights, I believe Beatrix is the only one that doesn't need to be reduced to 0 HP to complete the battle. OK, there's also the friendly monsters and the Ragtime Mouse but it's not intended to fight them via conventional means.
