mine is:
Lvl. 72 Knight
999hp
251mp
Lvl. 71 Ninja
820hp
260mp
Lvl. 72 White Wizard
961hp
999mp
Lvl. 72 Black Wizard
793hp
999mp

the Knight has the Ultima Weapon , so he's the main "fighter"
the Ninja... doesn't do a whole lot...
the W. Wiz is a healer and reviver, plus is really good in boss fights with "holy"
the B. Wiz is for enimies w/ high defense or weaknesses, and also i'll use flare a lot
my only prob is getting the B. Wiz's max hp to go up...
all my Wizzies have maxed mp, so they never have to use a phys. attack (stabbing, beating, etc.)

White Mage (becomes very essential with a Monk)
Black Mage

Red Mage
Black Mage

(yes, I know, it's the 8-bit theatre team)

I love 8-Bit Theatre! I may just try that party sometime, you know, the second one you mentioned!

I am very early in the game, but my party is as follows:
Warrior- Beoulv
Monk- Cid
Red Mage- Dell
White Mage- Hart
My naming methods aren't very original, I know. My second choice would be to either replace the Warrior with the Monk or ditch the Monk all together and add a Black Mage.
