how to close thread for mods

so as a new mod i found a thread that needs to be closed but how do i do it.

Assuming this is VBulletin (I think it is), there should be a 'Thread Tools' tab on the top corner of every thread which can allow you to close the thread. Or maybe it's on the bottom-left corner, where it says Moderation Options.

im fairly certain that this is run by invision, which i am an admin on numerous forums for. there should be a padlock at the bottom left of the screen at which you can lock it, to ban/warn people,
Warn- there should be bars under the person in questions location information, and a plus, and minus sign. click plus to add a warning, minus to take it away Ban- by the Welcome chou! at the top of the screen, there should be Mod CP. in there, at the bottom there is a text box with the text 'Enter Name Here' or something like that. it should come up with possible finds for that person, then when you find the person, clikc the Edit Profile next to their name and about half way down, it should have a text box entitled Ban, i think. then you click the drop down arrow, and it should have a number of days. just choose the correct amount of punishment and go to the bottom of the page and hit 'save changes' or something along those lines that should do it i did that from memory, so sorry if anything is wrong chou a moderator.......wow Edit oh and to delete a post, just clikc the delete at the upper-right hand side of the post in question This post has been edited by dont chocobos rule? on 26th November 2006 04:18 -------------------- Aujourdhui a commence avec toi. |
