Attaching images to posts

As you may know I've been sharing my illustrations by posting copied URL links. However I would like to eventually attach images to my posts. Unfortunately, I have been unable to do so, either for thumbnails or full-size images. Are there certain file types that don't work? I would like some help with this as soon as possible.

Your most recent post was of a JPG, and there's no reason that you'd be unable to attach a JPG to a post in Submissions or Creations. Can you describe further what steps you're following and what errors you're getting in doing so? Are you adding an image and it refuses to show up, or are the tools to add the image simply not there?

Problem solved. I was not pasting the right html link. I was using the web link and not the image code.
