I didn't know this was going to be on last night but I caught it before bed; I've seen a couple of these segments before and I think he was a little harder on XV than he has been some previous games, but I can totally get where a non-gamer would end up here (once I toss out the obvious hyperbole of the whole thing).

Came here to post this. Conan's review was hilarious, best 6 minutes of my day.

I have high hopes for the game, but seeing an outsider's perspective to point out how ridiculous it is that humans are playing inane tasks at time is great.

The car pushing scene wow lol.

The clouds ran away, opened up the sky
And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone

With all the insane things that final fantasy characters deal with, pushing a car in the desert is kind of refreshing.

The video was fun though. I love his reaction to the 72 hour battle.

Man, you know you got pacing issues if Frodo Baggins is refusing your time investment.

I'm certain the game will pick up more than it did in the video but damn did it look like it has a slow start. Did the creators have control of what parts of the game he could see? If so they picked terrible segments to show off.

It's probably more like the show picked certain parts for better comedy value.
