Well, here I am, at college. I'm at Truman State in Missouri. God, it's just werid being here, but I know I'll have blast. My parents were kind of sad that I'm gone, but I know they'll be fine. I'm the oldest so they still have two more kids. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be sticking around. By the way, where is everyone else going to school?

Ah, the joys of college. I'm going to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I'll be commuting, too, so I don't have to put up with that dorm crap.

I go to school at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova-Scotia, Canada ^-^ I graduate in April with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Anthropology, and my classes finish in December (this is my fourth year). I do like it, and i"ll miss school.

I'm heading off to the bay area (San Fran for those not in the know) to a vocational school called Expression. Gonna be moving out there too. Be the first time I've ever moved into an apartment and I don't know if I'll be able to come 'round to the CoN anymore...not a for a while at least since I won't have a phone line. But it won't be long, the entire program only lasts fourteen months. That's okay though, I'll probably find ways to get online through the schools computers...
So I guess this is goodbye...although I won't move till later this week... But just in case I forget toodle-oo... -------------------- |

I start my first classes at SUNY Buffalo (State University of New York at Buffalo) also known (by few) as UB on the 26th. Good thing I am going to to the university for its academics. The football program was ranked 109th out of 120 some Division I-A teams by Sports Illustrated. Sigh, Marshall is going to destroy us. ::Pictures Byron Leftwich throwing sixty seven TD passes against us::

Not really, I had a high enough ACT score. This year they had tougher requirements because they only wanted 6,000 freshmen, I think. You don't have to write an essay or anything, so it isn't so tough. But then...I'm the only one I know going there. -------------------- "So in the end I will be-what I will be No loyal friend Was ever there for me" -Gollum's Song, Emiliana Torrini |

I'm looking at five colleges right now, but I've got to get through senior year first. Michigan State, Illinois, Purdue, Oregon State, and Cal Poly...At this point Cal Poly's at the top of my list, but once I start visiting it'll probably change.

Congratualations, Sylphid, TMagic, SSJCloud, and Firesoulbird! I hope you have lots of fun at college and get good educations and meet your best friends for life ^_^ (and congrats to Elena for being a senior!)
I'm attending Vassar College in New York state, and I love it. This year I'm an RA, so I'll have lots of freshmen to traumatize...I mean, guide and help out. ¬.¬ -------------------- "Turd-cookies!...they're hot and soft, though..." I'm going to the University of Illinois at Chicago, studying Elementary Education and running track and cross-country. I like the athletic part, but I hate having to deal with my school. It's fairly incompetent and frustrating. I wouldn't reccommend it for the academic part, unless you want to be an engineer.

I still have two years to go until I graduate. But I figure sophomore year was the year to look into it. Right now, I have an idea to become a journalist or a meteorologist [studier of weather] So far, I'm liking 3 schools. Lyndoville College [Vermont], University of Western Connecticut, and University of New Hamphshire. LC has one of the best meteorology courses in the country. UWC and UNH both have pretty good english and journalism courses. I guess where I go will all depend on whether i want to study journalism or the weather. ::shrugs::

After this year, yours truly is not going to college, but instead, enrolling in the Air Force. {and no, those commercials didn't sway me. I've been wanting to be in the Air Force since i was a kid}. So after next year, Mookie will be one of the drones on those commercials saying "Come to the Air Force.. be one of us... it's good here.. yes, i am being paid to say all of this"
