If y'all ever got around to making a Final Fantasy III section would it include info on both American and Japanese versions or just American? Also do you think if both were done that the comic from Japan would be mentioned?
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
In which it explains that one of the onion knights in the original Japanese version was indeed a girl. Not Refia but Melfi.

Short answer: American only.

Long answer: We only really do the heavy stuff for officially translated games, so while we would probably do something like a version differences guide for the NES/DS versions of Final Fantasy III, we wouldn't cover a fan-translated version of Final Fantasy V, or Seiken Densetsu III, for example. As for other media - if we has the information, there's no reason we wouldn't include it somewhere.

Thanks. I have one more question though will there be any mention of an Onion Knight? Considering it's a secret class and plus a character from Dissidia representing FF3. Thats about it with my inquiry on if there ever is a section on FF3. Thanks again for answering my questions I appreciate it. flag-olly.gif

Sure, it's a secret class, but what game have we ever covered that didn't cover any secrets? Gogo was a "secret" character in FF6, Knights of the Round was a "secret" summon in FF7, Deep Dungeon is a collection of "secret" levels in FFT.

We don't cover a game unless we can at least try to cover all of it. Hopefully that covers all your questions, because I really can't answer much more than that about a game that we currently don't cover.

(Also, moving to commsugg.)
