Hi, everyone! I'm a fan of FFV, its Job System rules.

Either way, I recently played it following the walkthrough, getting everything that it's listed on it, however when I go to the Cave of the Old Man (the one near Karnak, underwater) and ask him to tell me about my journey, he tells me that I have gotten 98% of the Treasures. The only Treasure I haven't gotten is the one that is guarded by Shinryuu. But I doubt that the Ragnarok accounts for the remaining 2%. So I ask anyone if they have ever gotten the 100% of Treasures.

P.S. I'm playing the SNES version.

Maxed experience without ever saving once. Impressive.

Yea, I've gotten 100% before. I usually try to get 100% every time I play, but for SCC's or just fun playthroughs I don't bother. I usually try to at the beginning but I lose interest by world 2 and just proceed to beat the game. happy.gif

Well, you can use save states when you play on the emulator, but I actually changed the numbers with cheats on that picture tongue.gif

Though I do have gotten 100% legitimate, here are some snaps of the PS version:

Also, In the PS version, there's a bug that doesn't display 100%, but if you compare both pictures, you'll notice that in the 2nd one, it has an extra 0, that's how you can know if you've gotten all the treasures that do count...

Woa, nice contribution, Samurai Goroh. And I must say that I visited your page and your FFV Editor rocks... just one problem I spotted... when you modify an enemy, their name (in the game) changes to Goblin... but still, it's a very nice program. thumbup.gif

That is a known bug. The Attack Index value is written to the Monster Name Index address. The only solution is to fix the values manually in a hex editor.

There's guides but first of all you have to find a hex editor. (hex workshop is fairly good)

Open the ROM file in it and change the values. Mind you this is an entire SNES game so you have to know what you're doing first which is why if you want to change it look up a hacked file or use a guide.

Either way learning how to edit a ROM is in my opinion a useful skill. (If you use emulators a lot that is.)
