Inspired by an old topic of the same name in the FFVI section.

What pairings do you like for FFV? Does Bartz love Lenna or Faris? Let's hear your thoughts!

For me, and yeah, one is m/m. Oops~

I like Bartz/Faris the best. (Lol, does that count as m/m?) It's more like Faris/Bartz, really...it's more canon over Bartz/Lenna, I swear.

Bartz's mom and dad made a really nice couple. ; ; Stella seemed kind of awesome.

Galuf/Xezat. "That pun is so bad I'm going to fall on purpose!"

When Xezat died and Galuf waited for him outside, and wanted to wait just a little longer, just a little longer...it broke my heart.

I could deal with some Bartz/Krile. Their journey out of Tycoon near the end of the game made me kind of like Krile.

Faris/drunken pirate. Rememeber the guy in the cave who walks really slowly and goes, "Captain..I lo..." Yeah, him. I ship them. :P

AND I SHIP BOKO/KOKO<3

FFV doesn't actually have any obvious pairings, unlike most other FF's.
Before anyone starts an argument, I should mention that this is a very subjective topic - there is no real answer, so anyone should be free to have their own opinions.

Mine tends to change every now and then, but right now I'm all for Butz/Lenna.

But Faris didn’t like her royal life, I trough she escaped from the castle at the end?

I agree there isn’t much room for pairings in this game. So I’ll second Boko/Koko.

I don't know, I kind of think at the very least that Bartz was attracted to Faris from the start. When she finally did put on a dress he had hearts all over him XD.

When Bartz and Galuf saw Faris sleeping they both had hearts above their heads. In this part they still assumed Faris was a man, mind you.

And Galuf also teased Bartz about wanting to help Lenna because he liked her.

On the other hand, Linaly isn’t royalty and she has purple/blue hair, ummm.

Something just occurred to me! Mid/Krile. But, uh, damn lousy sequel.

Mid/Krile...they both have the Grandpa thing going on, but I don't know how much else they'd get along. Mid seems pretty bookwormy, and Krile's a take-action kind of girl. (Not that Mid isn't...all that airship building, sheesh.)

I was just blurting nonsense with Mid/Krile, not to be taken seriously. The true cannon pairing is Moggle/Krile, I mean he’s always in her room, and she can communicate with him J/K.

Still don’t know about Bartz/Faris, but Faris/Bartz seems appealing.

If Bartz went with Fairs it would be sending people a message, that you don't have to change yourself to actually be with somebody else. You can just be yourself [ even if that means that your a women who dresses as a man ]

Ugh...the characters lack depth. But I guess Krile/Mid wouldn't be a bad pairing, considering their age.

I can't see any pairings in FFV. Maybe it's because Im blaind to all romantic overtures or maybe because I just can't see any of them getting together.

Bartz+Faris might be plausible as both Faris and Bartz seem to be the adventurous type

I never understood why people say that the FFV characters are bland. None of them overcomes change but I find them better constructed that most of the FFIV cast minus Cecil and some of the FFVI ones.

That there aren't signals for romance isn't a character flaw. In fact I find it refreshing.

Like I previously said, we can rule Lenna out based on Legend of the Crystals. Linaly Klauser doesn't seem to have any relation to the current Queen Lenna. But then there's that Amano art...but then again his art is weird sometimes.

Faris has no pair in my book!
I know it's dumb to pair enemies, but I think Magissa would look good with a pirate.
