This may sound odd, but as I was going back to a few previous files in FFV with my friend, I decided to go to an unfinished one. This file in particular is in the third world and was saved right next to the fire-powered air ship. So anyways, my friend, having no knowledge concerning FFV whatsoever, decided to open the map and got to the shiny little chocobo icon (while I was away, I might add!) and decided to mount the chocobo and run off to somewhere distant.
Now 's when the problem comes in. I walk back into the room to discover the above and thought "well hey, it's no big deal, I mean how far can a ground based ostrich thing** go?" ... apparently VERY far. So here I am with this chocobo on my butt, not knowing where the hell my air ship is. Now it's no big deal but, does anybody know if the airship is displayed on the world map and can you see the ship while riding Boko? ** - inside joke.. -------------------- Through all perils and battles galore, The answer to every problem is but a mere draw away.. -XombieD |

Not sure if it is shown, but you leave the chocobo behind near Guido's cave, so that would be my guess for location.

In the third world, you can actually traverse around the entire world map on a chocobo. Your best bet is probably to circuit around the world until you find your airship.

Your best bet is probably to circuit around the world until you find your airship. Beyond the Truth of this, it's really funny that in my FFVA game, I actually took the time to bring all the transports to one location. Meaning that I grabbed Boco, the Black Chocobo, the ship, and Hiryuu to one centralized location. I took them to the Fire crystal city. So even though all you need is the airship, I can freely choose where I want to go in what form. And in reference to you problem: (reiterating Lasz a bit as well...) if you still have Boco, is it really a problem to search for the airship? It's not like you're having random enemy enounters every 5 seconds... -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! Isn't there supposed to be an icon indicating where the dragon, chocobo and airship are located in the world map?

This is true...i know ive gotten Hiryu and Boco, and theyve both got map icons, as indiscernable as they are. I believe the airship also had an icon, but unsure on the black choco. This means if you look carefully, you should see an icon for each transport. -------------------- <DrkMagimaster282> MWAHAHA. Nope, the ship never had an icon when you open the map, only the animals have one. (Chocobo, Black Chocobo & Hiryuu)
