RPG Limit Break, the speedrun marathon that raises money for NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is returning this year after several years off due to the pandemic. It's happening Oct 16 - 22, and the games have been announced! Here's the list:
https://rpglimitbreak.com/games As usual, there are several Final Fantasy games being run. The one I'm most interested in this year is Final Fantasy X which is going to be run by a bot! In past years I've watched TASbot run the original Final Fantasy, which was very fun. I'm pretty gobsmacked that a bot can run FFX which is much more advanced than FF1. I plan on tuning in for as many of the Final Fantasy games as possible. I will also be watching the Kingdom Hearts runs, probably. I see there's no Chrono Trigger this year, but it's probably been overdone (I know they've run it several times in the past.) I should be able to watch as much as I want, as it's a week after my craft fair so I should have lots of free time. -------------------- Watch me play games on Twitch! Schedule: Mondays: Final Fantasy XIV Saturdays: Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail Side Quests & Shenanigans |

Ooh, both Final Fantasy III NES and Final Fantasy III 3D (specifically on PC).
also found this gem of a quote: Quote Some things in life are inevitable. Bumper cars will bump. Adol will shipwreck ships. And, of course, no one will know how to pronounce Ys. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. RPG Limit Break 2022 is live now! Mostly, bumping this thread to remind everyone.
I've got it on in the background. They're currently running Mass Effect, but once that is over it'll be Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - Riku's Story which I will be interested in because (a) I love Riku, ( last time I tried playing CoM I really struggled with Riku's part, alas. I can't figure out if the times on the website are your local timezone or the venue timezone, hmm... edit: okay, times on website are YOUR local time. Also, watching the KH:CoM stream now and a chatter asked for someone to explain Kingdom Hearts' story, to which someone responded: Quote KH Explain The Story Any% - estimate 130h00m00s I am LMAO!
