I have gotten to the place called Beyond the Ruins then I fought the Gaurdian and then I got the seed and then caught the mouse and it gave me the password so i went to the control panel on the right and i held L&R then pressed A but NOTHING HAPPENS is there a glitch in the rom I downloaded or is there some thing I am doing wrong

Try making L and R something that is meant to be held down, like Shift. If it's a regular button, it will do something like thissssssssssss, which isn't good for button combos like that.

Temporarily make L and R the same button, like E for example. Then hit E and your button for A, and it should work. This is a common problem with CT ROMs.

Well, no, let's be accurate: it's a problem with keyboards. They're not meant to have a ton of standard character keys held down at once. It's fine if you set L and R to modifiers as The Celestial suggested, or use a pad. Just for reference.

I am curious, but is this in the future (2300 A.D.)?
