Okay here is where we talk about what jobs helped get us through parts of FFV I'll start with after wind crystal breaks

Okay well i sorta had those jobs until this happened
Butz=sorceror Lenna=2-handed sorceror Faris=White mage/Black Mage+Healing staff  Galuf=MonkLv.5 then i got bored and made him a blue mage Oh and guess what made the soul gun easy not even cheating Lenna(2-handed Coral Sword+Bolt2 sword it took it out it one hit. teehee. -------------------- PARENTAL ADVISORY:The text in this signature may offend some people read at your own risk. |

Initial jobs I give them:
Butz: Knight Lenna: White Mage Faris: Black Mage Galuf: Thief then.... later prefered job assignments Butz: White Mage, Magic Knight, Samurai Lenna: Black Mage, Summoner, Monk Faris: White Mage, Time Mage, Blue Mage, Archer Galuf: Knight, Red Mage, Ninja, Archer not so useful classes (to me, anyways): dancer, geomancer, berserker, chemist, bard some DO have application though, like one (i forget which one) that you can walk over damaged floor without falling below -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." "Arthur Philip Dent?" "Yes." "You're a total knee biter." |

The way I started out:
Bartz - Blue Mage, Knight Reina - Knight Galuf- White Mage, Black Mage (dumb combo on my part) Faris - Thief For most of the game: Bartz - Blue Mage, Ninja (two swords + Blue Magic )Reina - Knight, Time Mage, White Mage (I needed healing) Galuf/Krile - White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage (even less intelligent) Faris - Thief, Summoner, Lancer (Talk about kicking butt.  )I plan to organize things better next time. -------------------- Get me off this Disciplinary Committee so I can play any FF except for FF8!!! |

I tend to change my party each time I play it through for all that extra replay value!
The party I have at the moment is: Bartz: Blue Mage Reina: White Mage (gotta have one!) I cheered when Aeris went down. The second time through FFVII I didn't even use Aeris cause there was no point but using Galuf was useful cause he was strong and you could give his skills to Krile. Unfortunatly I hadn't much time to spend on this game, but for what I did play, I stayed either on mage classes, (black, Magic knight) or I spent it on fighting classes. (ninja, samerai, knight) I made sure to at least gain a few levels in the other classes though.

So far I have:
Butz: mastered Monk, BlueMage up to Learning, TimeMage up to Lv.2, RedMage up to Lv.2? Lenna: did some work on Hunter, WhiteMage, Berserker, Samurai, and some other classes Galuf: did some work on Summoner, Bard, WhiteMage, Ninja, and some other classes Faris: mastered Knight, BlackMage up to Lv.4 I think I'll need a Knight, a Ninja, a Monk, and a Hunter/RuneKnight/BlueMage, with the white magic, black magic, summoning, and time magic skills. At least one character also needs geomancer skills, and another needs hunter skills. (Note about Bard class: even knowing Edward of FFIV, I was still stunned to find out that the Bard had an attack power that was even worse than the BlackMage's. Now THAT wasn't in the previous game.) And for all of you people debating over Galuf and Tellah, how about (FFVI) General Leo? Possible spoilers: highlight to view He's the most powerful character in the entire game, and you only get to use him in one grand (??) battle before he gets killed by Kefka. But he's the staunch opposite of Kefka--self-control vs. insanity, restraint vs. wild disregard for decency and civilization, honor vs. cruel nastiness, morality even in a troubling situation vs. complete disregard for principles. Yet he gets killed by an absolutely evil madman. Now THAT was one of the most shocking moments in ANY game, a moment which (in my opinion) even beats Crono dying in CT. -------------------- current games (2024-02-19): Fairy Fencer F ADF Pokémon Perfect Crystal finished so far this year: Gato Roboto drowning, drowning New Super Mario Bros.
