I am putting this topic in FF1 because this is where it all started.
I will make this brief. I was speaking to my friend who plays FFXIV with me and I asked him if Final Fantasy, as a franchise, is sacred to him. To me Final Fantasy is like a friend who has always been there for me. Whenever I am down, bored, happy, in class, at work, in the bathroom.... Final Fantasy has never let me down and it bothers me if I ever hear or see someone putting down video games or JRPGs. It is sacred ground to me so tread carefully. Does anyone else feel this way about FF or other games? |

I don't know if sacred is the right word, but the franchise certainly is special for me. Not a day goes by without me thinking of Final Fantasy in some way, whether it be playing FF Brave Exvius or listening to a soundtrack while knitting/crocheting. It has certainly shaped my life in many ways. I have friends because of these games. Just made a new friend, actually, because I was talking about the franchise elsewhere.
