Has anyone else played this? It was the first PS2 game I played and I still can't get enough of it. It's all about the end of the Han dynasty and the struggle between the respective clans to gain control.
It's really awesome, because you're a super strong guy(i think there's 32 characters) and you have to fight the other teams army of pitiful minions. All the while, you have your army fighting too, but without you're help they get whooped. A definite quantity over quality type game, but i like it. You do have to fight other officers and generals who can be pretty hard. If you want a real quality challenge, try to beat Lubu in the 2nd level. And what's your favorite character? -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

I've been playing DW3 religiously for the past couple of months. I still haven't played on anything above "normal" because archers still own me on easy mode.
Mostly all the characters have their positive points, but I honestly can't stand any of the fan-users. If i had to pick favorites, it'd be a tie between Liu Bei, Zhang Liao, and Pang Tong. On a slightly related note, if anyone knows a site that sells the Three Kingdoms books for under $45, I'd appreciate a link. I know there are sites that have the entire book to read/download, but I'd feel better about myself if I owned a hard copy. -------------------- No deer for a month. |

My favorite characters are Lui Bei and Pang Tong! Great minds think alike.
Yeah, archers can be a bitch. I'm thinking about leveling up Huang Zhong and getting his 4th weapon. He could probably really kick the crap out of archers. Especially with flaming arrows.

Wow. People who actually own Dynasty Warriors 3. I've been looking for that game for quite a while now and have not found it in any store. I'm so pissed. I played one of the original games about the Han Dynasty for SNES and I still play it to this day when I'm bored. Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2 it's called. It has all the classic characters like Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Lu Bu, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, etc. I still will not give up the search just yet though
