The Harry Potter books were cool, but quidditch is stupid. The only good part is the flying. If the game had a time limit it would be better, instead of ending the game when the snitch is caught.

harry potter.  what a sad case when compared to LOTR.  it's just so much simpler, as if it were dumbed down.  meh.

Tmagic: personaly instead of a time limit, I'd lower the points awarded by catching the snitch.  150 seems a bit much when a goal only awards you 10. I think it makes the games seem kind of "lets watch Harry win"ish.  those bludgers are gold though.  I'd like to see a basketball game with those wizzing around.

vaanhalen: er,  I could name a bunch of books that are deeper than Harry Potter.  My highschool algerbra texts for starters x_x  However, if your refering to well writtenness, then no, Harry Potter is solid.

If you were bashing Memory Sorrow and Thorn (or any AD&D book for that matter), then I'd be behind you 1 hundred percent.  But I have Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings on the same shelf at home.
