I think that your wrong with something(dont ban me) i think that edgar and sabins theme is figaro castle well its a better version of figaro castle.

Yeah, yeah, plenty of our FF6 music is misnamed and out of order.  But it's not a better version, Edgar and Sabin's theme is the exact same music as plays at Figaro Castle, and is incorrectly labelled "Castle Figaro's Theme" in our listings.  The music labelled "Edgar and Sabin's Theme" is in fact "Coin Song".

If you want a better version of the soundtrack, get some SPCs from the FF6 downloads page.

I'll try and fix the MIDI names today.

Did either of you ever get the Soundtrack to FF3/6?  Not the newer one, but the OLD classic one.  (Was a 3 CD set, came with ALL the ORIGINAL music from the game.  No re-done stuff.)

It is still one of my favorite set of CDs I have.  I listen to it all the time, even if it did come out 8 years ago.

Let me just add this:

NO.

"Edgar and Sabin" IS the theme played at Figaro Castle.  This is FACT.  There is only one track defined within the game, there are NO other versions.

If you have a different MIDI, it is just a different attempt to sequence the same piece of music, which may sound better to you.  It's pretty subjective, and it depends on your sound card, which is why MIDI is a really annoying and stupid medium.

All the track names are now corrected, by the way, which means the bizarre alphabetical ordering of the songs is now broken and there's a gap in the numeric sequence of the list, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
