My name is Schism, aka Jamie Crothall, amateur self-published author extrodinaire! *sigh* Okay, sorta. I've been reading this, and I'm very impressed :-) Well done, I particularly like how you've handled Locke. Anyway, I'm only a few chapters in, but I just wanted to let you know what I thought of it so far. The layout for it is good too, it's nice to see people taking the time to put their works up in an easy-to-use layout.

Ch. Eighteen and on don't work.
That pisses me off cause you've made an incredible piece of work and those chapters that aren't there are just teasing me to insanity. This is top-notch professional grade stuph here man! I loved every minute of it, including the lovely humor and characterizations. The changes ya made to the actual story are great. I do have a beef though and it's a personal one.
Yeah I know it gives the story that 'harsh reality' edge, and I know I'm being a prude, but I've seen it so many times in other fics it just seems cliche and rather trite now. But like I said, it's a personal issue and doesn't change the fact this is the stuph professional writers are made of. Now finish it dammit!  -------------------- |

SPOILERS.....sorta.
I was never influenced by hentai in that Celes bit. I wasn't doing it to add a 'dirty' element. And I wasn't necessarily going for the harsh bit. I just thought......Locke hates the Empire and Celes, so what could possibly make him feel sorry for her? I don't regret my choice to do so, but please don't miscontrue me as one of these hentai writing pervs, cos if THAT was the case then I would have DETAILED the acts. I just wanted to make vauge references to them. I'm almost done the newest chapter. I'll let you know when it's up! THEN one of those other links will work! Eeee! I'm so glad you like it! |

The only way I can garuntee completion is IF I'm garunteed that people are gonna read it.
It's gonna be long once finished, you can bet on that. I started posting about this at the Moogle Cafe http://pub69.ezboard.com/bthmooglecafe And then after a while people lost interst, so I stopped writing. Then a month ago people started asking me when I'm gonna do more. I was so happy! People HADN"T lost interest after all! So I try to update fairly regularly, I aim for a chapter a week. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. Let's put it this way, if you brought me an audience, I'll give 'em a show.  |

Lovely work. I am probably the most jaded fanfiction reader/writer on the internet, but this is really very impressive. There are some parts not central to the story that I would cut or pare down, but your style is solid and lively. Please do finish the novel :)

Glad you like it.
Every time even ONE person writes a good comment about it, I get all warm and squishy. ....yeah......i have a bed-wetting problem. I like the non-relevant parts though. Anyone can do a blow-by-blow recount of events in the game and call it a fan-fic, but it's the little 'extras' that make it less of a 'fan-fic' and more of a novel. But thanks for the feedback! |
