Artist's Comments:
When the preliminary rounds of the Music CONtest started up, it brought back a lot of old nostalgia. One piece, from Final Fantasy, I had forgotten about: the Undersea Shrine. I didn't know it had been remastered for the PSP, but I fell in love with that rendition and saw this image immediately. Anyways, the image stuck and I sat down this evening and did it up over the last 3 hrs or so, listening to that piece and the Abandoned Ruins more or less on repeat. It was also a great opportunity to practice some background work, which I've not given myself much practice and aptly suck at. With this, I am quite pleased. Thanks in advance for looking and possibly commenting! First art if 2011 for me! View Art: http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/fanart/viewart.php?id=953 |

At first, I didn't see the shrine, so I thought it was just looking out from the shrine or something, but then I looked closer (and adjusted my screen), and the picture made a lot more sense. Cool stuff, man!

Very nice! I got a kick out of your explanation of how it was made, heh.

Looks so lonesome in a vast underwater landscape. And it was a good choice to keep this monochrome, I think.
