Speaking of stats and stat bonuses (well, I was earlier), wouldn't the greatest thing be a mod where people could fight other users using their FFVI characters? As for myself, with controlled leveling and good judgement I believe I have created the most powerful fighting teams, and killing Kefka in under a minute is only fun for so long. So, if there were a mod where users could pick a team of five and fight against other teams, I believe that would be fun. And those who fly to L99 the Lete river way would be screwed via poor stats. I dunno. I've always thought about that, though. Almost made me consider taking up pokemon. almost.

That would rule. I always wanted to play triple triad or tetra master against other people (real life people ). They should have added that. By having a memory card in each controller slot, 2 players could battle it out. It wouldn't work this way with FF6, but if someone could hack a rom somehow, do I hear "online battles?"

On some Square fighting game(can't remember the name), it had Final fantasy 7 characters in it. Of course, that's not the same as uploading your actual characters and stats but hey.

Well, being able to fight each other VIA memo cards would be kewl, and that's just why Legend of Mana's small arena is awesome! Having 2 human players going at it is kewl!
The only downfall for doing it with a game like any FF game is that certain characters are way better at Level 99, depending on how someone plays the game, as vaanhalen stated earlier. However, Triple Triad or Tetra Master would be a fun game to play against a human, or even the Chocobo races from FF7, or any competitive mini game of the like from any FF game. |

I'm not sure if anybody's interested, but Fierce Legends Software plans to add this feature into their FF6 prequel game. Maybe not in the initial release, but in a slightly later release, we plan to make all card games multi-player.
We also plan to, again at a slightly later date, add multiplayer controls to the battle system, so that players can battle their characters against each other. Just thought I'd mention it and see what people thought |

That sounds great! Collecting cards is one thing, battling with them is cool, battling other people is just great.
Sas: That's what's great about it. People would try extremely hard to get ultimate fighters, but getting to the end of the game at lv. 5 and get tons of stat bonuses. -------------------- Lou: There's a couple of guys fighting down at the aquarium, Chief. Well, it would be great, but I'm more on "doesn't care" side (unless someone edit on characters to make it more fitable for duels).
Because some characters are very bad at fighting other characters. Also, the attack is too strong. If anyone have Gem box, with quick spell and cast Ultima four times, this will be like automatic win. -------------------- I will be there... |

Well, in terms of the Fierce Legends multiplayer battle system, the battle system is modified slightly to make it more strategy based and less "simple". There are still levels, so if you have a more experienced character it's likely they will be much stronger, but the types of attacks and magic you can use are not as 'free' as they are in the normal game. In addition to this, the game's turn based system is modified slightly to make sure the game is given more strategy, so that it's based more or the way you play the battle, rather than just casting Ultima and claiming your victory.
