I am interested in seeing what you would wear if -you- became a Final Fantasy VI Character; taking in mind the various clothes ranging from Gogo and Kefka's flamboyent garments to Locke's thief clothes, or Shadow's assasin gear. Don't put anything like abilities, or history or anything - but you can include your weapon of choice from any existing weaponry sets or bring in your own range such as weapons from other Final Fantasy games. Please go into detail about your costume, too.

My costume would be military based; I'd wear a full plate ressembling that of the Empire troops, but with marks to distinguish me firmly against. The colouring would be all dark blue as well. Gauntlets would be detachable - like heavy gloves you slot on and then screw on to the elbow of the plate but with lining on the inside for comfort. The bottom of the trousers which aren't hidden by the blue full plate are just ordinary chain mail material. Metal boots. Obviously I'd be bad for speed and movement, but I'd be a strong character so that wouldn't matter. I'd also have a crimson cape from my shoulders to make me look spiffy. I wouldn't have a helmet like the Empire grunts though. Hair colour darker red than my cape. Weapon of choice would be battleaxes for maximum slicing and dicing.

Hmm what my character would be wearing. A black trench coat. undrr the trench coat would be a light breast plate, blue jeans & boots. As for weapons, I'll have to stick w/ magical swords, like the Illumia. Hmm anything else... His black hair would be tied back.

I'd take Sabin's outfit just as it is, although I'd want to lift weights for a while first. It would be nice to have the dexterity and comfort that a Kung Fu suit offers. Wearing something heavy would be absolutely terrible on a hot sunny day. Well just to be a unique looking character I'd have blue pants with a white top. A dagger would be ideal for armor piercing.

I think I'd have to go with a long robe or an overcoat of some kind, with a net shirt underneath and billowing pants. Sandals on those feet, please. Maybe some necklaces or earrings and long hair...and maybe braided in a few locks. (Anyone for ribbons, beads, and feathers? ) For weaponry...perhaps a pike.

Have to beef up a lot before doing all that, though. :-P

I'd probably wear something like Sabin as well - light and functional. For a weapon I could handle a mithril pike very well, but if we're using heavier materials I'd have to go with a shortspear or quarterstaff, because you really can't do much with a heavy pike.

I'd go halfway between Setzer and Sabin. With my long hair I'd look cool in loose Setzer-ish clothes but I'd want a shorter jacket, maybe with short sleeves and I'd wear bracers. I'm 5 foot 8 and pretty fast and real agile, so that'd be all the armor I'd have except for maybe shin guards. I'd like boots or some kind of big footwear just because my ankles are messed up. For a weapon I'd want a medium to large sword or a katana. Color-wise I think I'd go black and red, or maybe brown with a burgundy jacket. I could take the jacket off if I was in a hot area... man this is fun to think of.

I think I would probably end up wearing a matador-esque costume, probably with some sort of rapier. Either that or a spanish flamenco outfit, tango outfit, or even just some flashy, olden nobility clothing.

Something like this, probably.... though without the mustache.

hmmm...tough,tough,tough. Well i'd say something like shadows suit, with the gold crown, slit eyes, shoulder pads, an just about the entire suit. It would be entirely black, except for the gold wrist cufflets and crown, and the golden crown.For the weapon? Probably something like Sian's(Cyan's?Cian's?)best sword.
It would have to have a black balde and a golden handle.I chose Sian's sword because he use real ninja weapons:katanas and the like. All that shadow uses are the dinky little dirks. Ihad him throw them all away once. After that, he was realy weak.

I would definitely take most of what Sabin wears coupled with a taste of nicer things in life a la Edgar. So I'd probably end up wearing durable kung fu suit pants and a REALLY nice tank top. I wouldn't even need to change too much either (except take enough steriods to join MLB) as I already am blond and know a martial art (probably need to brush up on my blitzes).

I fancy myself a knight, or otherwise a swordsmaster with a sharp tongue renowed for helping others. Sigfried's (Did I spell his name correctly?) costume appeals to me quite a lot, alhough I'd change the colour scheme slightly. I wonder how red and black would be??

Althou i'm a girl, i LUV Locke's bandana so i'd probly wear that and then, (can i take clothes from otha ff's?) maybe Rinoa's dress-thing, i dunno wat to call it, with ganet's/Dagger's Long hair and terra's earings. Then i'd probly alternate between Pain's (ff10-2) sword she has @ the beginin coz it is kinda kewl, Selphie's Morning Star (i think that's selphies....) and A thief's knife. Yea.... OH! and Irvines kik ass gun strapped to my bak lol.
For the top and trousers, maybe Celes' things, they'd be kewl...

No possible way would I have a gun. Guns in FF games just don't belong, IMO. I'd have on something light and comfy and easy to run in (for no reason. Really). Then, I'd have a spear or large sword strapped to my back, or I'd be holding it like a staff. Boots just seem uncomfortable, so I'd be wearing some kinda moccasins. And a light cape on my back, as well.

Okay...here's what my character would really look like...I'd be wearing a trenchcoat with a little bit of ornamentation on it, with a gold belt buckle, a gold chain, and a nice big sword strapped to my back. The trenchcoat would be so I could store all the cool stuff I'd be carrying with me, like hidden weapons and such. My artistic rendering is done in the FFVI character style...bit of a hybrid of some of the existing character's clothes. The head is more or less just designed to look like my real head, not that you can make out much detail at that size.



I know you asked about costume, and not character profile, but here's a really short one anyway...

My character (we'll refer to him as "Majik") is a consumate loner, and wanders around from town to town doing as he pleases. He claims to love fighting, but really he'd rather not, and only wields his huge sword when he absolutely has to. His real loves in life are good food and good ale, and the occasional company of ladies, though he finds for the most part that they get in the way of his being a loner.

Majik will visit a town and do a significant good deed for one person, so they feel obligated to take him in. From this point, he will live with them, and he takes advantage of whatever he can get for free, only working out of necessity. To Majik, true freedom is lack of obligation to anyone, and he will seperate himself from anyone he feels is becoming dependant on his company or his abilities. Still, he would give his life for his true friends if ever it came to it.

This would be my second choice of costume...no clothes at all. I would be a big ape-like creature with a bandolier to hold some stuff and hook my weapons to. My only form of communication would be growling, but everyone would understand it like it was perfect english. That would rock...
