Hardly unexpected since everything's being ported to Steam these days but yeah, World of Final Fantasy will be relased on Steam on 21st November.

A day one edition will be available for the first week which will give you a digital soundtrack sampler and a wallpaper. Not a big deal to miss if you want to wait to buy the game.

Thanks for this news, posting it was on my to-do list for today. smile.gif

I still haven't taken the shrinkwrap off of my PS4 copy of this game, but I think that Steam might be a good audience for it. Should be good to see on the platform.

Hmm I'm not familiar with this game - what are your thoughts on it? and how would you compare it to the games in the main series?

I just picked up the Switch so I'm going to pause my FF run for now.. but every time I see a new FF game on steam I just have to add it to the wishlist! I think I might enjoy FF now even more so then I did when I was young!

Here's a brief but useful thread about that, Shane: https://www.cavesofnarshe.com/forums/ipb/in...showtopic=17580

Yeah I might have to pick this one up!

Definitely seems interesting - probably something I would want to play after I get through the other games though so I can pick out more of the references!

$40 price point does seem a little high but I guess the game is not that old - usually I'm a sucker for preorder/day 1 bonuses.. but might hold off for awhile since it is only a wallpaper.. Then again... when the 21st rolls around I will probably feel the pressure and pick it up anyway tongue.gif
